Aging Beautifully

Some things look better over time.

I find that the aging of objects is more aesthetically appealing when:

- The color of the material beneath (if there are multiple layers) is harmonious with the color of the material on top

- The object's form is accentuated by the dents, chips, and scratches, not destroyed by it

- Patterns of usage are accumulated over time are authentic (unlike pre-faded jeans!)
